-
Senior Patrol Leader | Kuwait City, Kuwait
-
During my 7 years with the Kuwait Boy Scouts Association, I have worked both domestically and internationally with many great people to better our communities and selves.
-
I had a one-of-a-kind opportunity to co-lead the 2018 Kuwaiti-Malaysian Expedition where we explored Malaysia and met with the WOSM Directors in the Kuala Lampur global headquarters.
-
I also had the opportunity to co-lead a 24 hour desert hike in Kuwait where the platoon was tasked with solving riddles that rely on our navigational skills to find our camping spot.
-
Moreover, I participated in the Jota Joti multiple times, the world's largest digital scout event, which broadened my perspectives and helped me develop a global outlook on life.
-
My experience was very involved with the community; it included many forms of service such as beach cleanups, distributing food and drinks to those in need, and organizing local camps and carnivals.
-
I am grateful to have been in such supportive environment that helped me develop new skills and explore myself outside of academics. With the boy scouts, my journey helped me explore many aspects of life for the first time such as fishing, the basics of car repair, first-aid, and flight simulation.
